Did Ibn Battuta really say Mogadishu had an eagle as their coat of arms?
Kinda weird as we don’t have a history of falconry.

Interesting I guess eagles and lions are just a universal symbol of royalty.
UK have no lions but they still use it in their emblems and Somalia has no history of falconry but we got it on ours.
Today i learnt that people all over the world thought that lion and eagle designs look badass.
Would be a badass symbol for the somali airforce

Its a universal symbol but Byzantium did it first
We are part Arab League due to our shared religion and culture not us being Arabs
Somalia’s flag should be changed to a modified version of the Darwish flag with the Golden Falcon in the centre.
The current flag looks gay. The new flag would look kind of similar to Mauritania’s flag, but with Red borders also going parallel:

If we were to get a new flag I’d propose a redesign of Adal’s flag, something like this:

No he didn't, that wasn't the flag either, why would animals drawings be used as a flag when it's haram , it would be mentioned in banadiri sources if there were any flags

Funnily enough it's only banadiris that preserved their history through manuscripts, obviously you'd be envious since your history preservation was basically Chinese whispers
