Yes, Somalis are also Afro-ArabView attachment 249620
What is that? The results of random Somali doesn't concern me. I'm Afro-Arab.
That is a fact. The people of the ancient kingdoms of south Arabia, Saba, Ma'in, Qataban and Hadrawat were not Arabs in any sense and would've not appreciated being identified as such. They were Arabized after the birth of Islam.I can even make the claim that Yemenis by origins were not Arab but rather of Sabaean Identity, even their inscriptions made a distinction between themselves (Saba'i, Dhu Raydani, Hadramawti) and the 3arab'ti (Bedouins) who most likely came from North-Western Arabia aka Modern day Jordan.
zaghawa in chad have eurasian admixture like 15% in average and you right. Baggara can up like 50% arab admixture speiclaly the mlisseriya or Mahamid in chad they look very arab not nilotic at allI agree with all that you've said; I'm just not a fan of any of the Arab groups in that region. The Zaghawa and Masalit seem to be more Nilo-Saharan than the Toubou and those are the groups I'm referring to when I point out that Chad is mostly Nilo-Saharan.
The Baggara are certainly not indigenous to Chad-Darfur; the Baggara arrived in Darfur in the 14th and 18th Centuries.
