Can anyone share any information of a woman that went missing for over a decade.

There's a woman who is trying to find her friend that went missing around 2006/2007and she fears it could be a body police believe to be a somali woman (Jane doe) her body was found in 2011 and police believe she's been dead for well over a decade in Washinngton state. The missing woman was from British Colombia but had a sister in Washington state. Her name is Maryam Sheikh and she's from the darood clan, she was in her early 30s and was last seen by anyone when she told people she's heading to Africa for a trip, she worked for the government as an I.T specialist, and worked in Zurich Swtizerland. Her nickname is nabz. Her friend is very worried that it could be her as the description is very similair. If anyone knows Maryam Sheikh or knows of someone similair to my description feel free to contact me.

Why do you think she (the jane doe) could be Maryan Sheikh. Also Why do you think it was a serial killer called keyes (who is keyes anyway?) and why could the military be involved? How do you have any of this information?

It might not be Maryam Sheikh so I'm not officially connecting her to Jane doe. This is from what I gathered when researching I didn't say I believe in it as at the end of the day these are speculations, nor concrete evidence. Keyes aka Israel Keyes was a prolific serial killer who went to search for his victims and kill them, a lot of his possible victims were from Washington. Again the military being involved is from information I found on Google, this is all speculation, but I'm gathering any information I know about the Jane Doe.

They realised she was Somali after they took samples of DNA from her remains.

This itself put the investigation back, and goes to show the futility of modern science when it comes to human diversity.

Thank you. This is extremley disturbing. I used to be a prolific jane doe/ john doe unsolved murder fan but i had to stop because it was making me paranoid and afraid. Evrytime i heard a sound i thought it was a serial killer coming to get me. Even in public/with other people i did not feel safe. Also those facial composites of the john/jane does have to be the creepiest, eeriest and most disturbing things i've seen. In my quest to learn more i have seen real life dead peoples bruised and battered faces. Whoever does this to a lot of these people are sick and evil. Before that I used to be into kidnapping / unsolved murder cases i had to stop for my own sanity.

They even did isotope testing to find where they could have come from by the pollen on the clothes of the does but even then that is usually inaccurate someone who is speculated to be from Atlanta Georgia might be from Bergen Norway.

I know i felt a lot of sadness and anger and pain on behalf of the victims. I can't imagine what it is like to go through such a horifying experience. Most of the time they try to fight back.

In the cases of a lot of these young women, they are usually runaways (escaping horrific abuse) s*x workers (who are preyed upon because of the nature of their extremely vulnerable job), or just girls whose cars may break down or looking to hitchhike in any case it always extremely sad. What's even more sad is the way their bodies are treated by these killers. Some of them dismember their bodies and throw them. So for example they can find the torso but never the head. A lot of the time they are found naked. Also, a lot of pedophiles and sex offenders kidnap young girls and even young boys assault them, and then murder them.

They are so racist in America that they neglect the black jane doe's and usually they never get solved. Sometimes they even lose the body and crucial evidence like in the case of St. Louis Jane Doe.
