No it is not tea but she is crushing various ingredients. I think it used for xawaash too etc.Do tell I haven't got a clue what she is doing I just assumed it was something to do with making tea

My spelling is terrible , BUT: I know the house as a munduul, the stool as gambaar, and the water or storage pot as an ashoon. The mortar is a moi, and it was used to crush maize to make soor and mishari. The jar at the right is a dhil, for milk. That is a very large and new luux. Judging from her bare shoulder, this photo was taken before the civil war.
