We need people to invest in their land back home by sending standard agriculture equipments. I'm planning to start a company that will monopolize the meat and dairy industry.

We gotta stop widespread camel herding
Heavily disagree, it should be supported with a larger supporting supply chain for inputs to maintain herds nutrition and health and outputs to create manufacturered goods to export

dairying and livestock owners make much more profits and with much more ease , with higher socio economic standing than crop farming

Most crop farmers are actually dependent on sales to livestock and dairy farmers across Europe and America.

why. can farming sustain the population btw

Somalia will have to import around 1.2 million tons of cereals between August 2022 and July 2023. Somalia's peak cereal production was in 1989 when it produced 650,000 tons. Somalia does not have the water resources or the suitable land to feed its 16.5 million people. Somalia could feasibly produce 1 million tons of cereals if Shabelle river irrigation infrastructure is repaired and the Juba river is harnessed but it is difficult to see how this comes about.

The problem is that by the time Somalia manages to exploit the Juba, Shabelle, and the Bay region, the population will have surpassed 25-30 million making that investment fairly pointless.

Jubaland could feed itself, but Somalia as a whole will import its food forever.

Some parts of the country can be selfsufficient and most of Somalia is suitable for greenhouse agriculture. With right mindset, education and investment it is possible to turn Somalia not only self sufficient but an exporter. In big cities people are growing food in warehouses.

How feasible would a food for land deal for Ethiopia to build 3-4 ports be? 30 year lease on anywhere in Somalia for 1.5 million tons of cereal a year and a guarantee on river flow

We should take advantage of this, these are skills that lift people out of abject poverty.
