The reason Somalia is so fucked is that the odays are too out of touch with the reality in Somalia and those who are in touch, ignore it because of “ceeb culture”.
The reality is that most Somalis back home are younger than the average SSpot user and decades of war has ruined society.
Crimes like s*xual assault, revenge p*rn, schoolkid violence and substance abuse is rife back home.
Instead of hiding behind it, this show has put the spotlight on it with style. I am honestly impressed with the visuals, set design and the accurate portrayal of middle class life back home.
Wishing the young cast and director all the success in the world. Guul.
