Camels are the best animals on earth

We have the most camels in the world im pretty sure

If Somalis develop medicine out of Camel cells, blood and urine, it could be revolutionary and we could export that medicine worldwide developing a big pharmaceutical industry, billion $ idea right there

Theres also camel milk, literally the best milk you can find as explained in the video, if an industry is made to bottle and export it, it could also open a big market and revolutionalize breakfasts worldwide

Camels are a big untapped market Somalis back home have not a clue of the amount of money they could make

Last week people posted about this article ap done about a camel milk farm and how they making yoghurt and stuff. The market is there
Linking from the nigeria thread and the low number of geeljireyaal i honestly believe somalia should implement some sort of geeljire service like sort of mandatory geeljire living for a period of time for all the youngers. Because when people urbanising they are going to forget the importance of camels and they become at the whims of the government. Also improving their diet with the harder foods better jaw development

Horses are way cooler than a camel. I mean look at them…

Sadly they are not talked about as much in somali culture compared to camels :mjcry:
I mean a huge amount of poetry was written about horses by Somalis till the early 20th century. The sayyid even wrote a poem about how absolutely devasted he was that he had to give his favorite horse called xiin-fiin as a gift to the Majerteen clan leader in exchange for a marriage alliance through the Majerteen clan leaders daughter.

I hate them cuz i remember one trying to bite me at the zoo when i was young. They hold grudges and never forget

I thought about something else, if you buy a couple of white camels and hire scientists with the certainty that they will be able to selectively breed the camels and find the gene that gives them that white coat, you could breed dozens of white camels and sell them for millions to the middle east

The camel business is untapped, imagine all of the money we can make from it
After some research i found out camels make way way less milk than cows, but its cheap back home cause we have so many and they rotate

To produce camel milk on an industrial scale would be harder than cows and take more capital and time but apparently according to camel farmers in UAE theres a huge demand and export potential, their only issue was that you need too many camels to export as much milk as you would with cows

At the end of the day its kinda like Lobsters, if you do enough xayeysis you can turn it into a rare and prized kind of milk that people dont buy everyday but drink on rare occasions like once a week

Arabians have lots of camels but idk if they drink camel milk in the cities
