I have this cadcad friend who went on a study abroad year and fell in love with this girl from the host Kazakhstan, whilst studying in China. I kept telling him it will not work for many reasons, including language barrier, kids struggling in adopting both cultures, extended family, and many more. Recently he narrated that his parents had arranged a marriage for him with another cadcad girl, and he has met the girl once. After further research, apparently arranged marriage is the norm in cadcad culture. He has not told his parents about the other girl, and the arranged marriage girl still expects to marry him. The girl is manipulating him by constantly snapping him and saying how she misses him, and he falls for it. Tbh he is a miskeen that is getting played. I tell him it won't work and he just replies 'you don't understand.'

Tell him to think with his mind, not with his emotions. Tell him about the long term consequences it can have when you engage in interracial marriages like the culture/language differences.
