I saw a video by this one guy, J.J McCullough.

He said that French Canadians used to be langaab and looked down on, but ever since the government implemented laws to promote equality they're not langaab anymore.

For example in Canada all the government officials have to be fluent in french and english, this gives the Quebecers(idk what to call them) an advantage.

The PM is a quebecer, so are most of the high ranking government officials, so they have lots of political influence now.
