I think they should’ve fined him, take away the cats and do some community outreach. Also drop him for the next game as it was the day after the incident.

Now they’ve canceled his Adidas sponsorship, Vitality have withdrawn as a West Ham sponsor and further backlash will continue.

You also have legit commentators talking about how this is worse than racism.

But none of this happened when Suarez or John Terry got done for racial abuse.

In regards to Vitality, I think they were shocked West Ham played him right after the controversy, so they’re trying to punish the club.

I ain’t condoning what Zouma did, he deserves to be punished, it was fucked.

But the worst fine ever given for racism was to the entire Hungarian football federation for £85K.

Plus numerous players have been caught red handed for racism and they didn’t get Adidas or Nike canceling their deals.
