It's incredible how much there is to do in Mogadishu and how much the city has changed, yet this guy only films that garbage lighthouse and beach and some AKs... I'm tired of these people and this image they're portraying of us wAllahi. Do we even have a minsitry of Tourism ? What are they doing about this, if they even are aware of it. By now it should be clear every tourists go to that nasty beach and lighthouse and not liido and other beautiful places in the city.

This problem could easily be fixed by cleaning that lighouse area and setting up tourism agencies to do guided visits of the city. Shameful situation wlhi, and it doesn't look like the government even cares.

He only films those parts because he wants views like all the other “danger tourists” youtubers who go out of their way to misinterpret the country they’re visiting or purposefully visit slums & ignore nice areas. You shouldn’t be surprised that an attention starved loser is acting like this, he knows that he wouldn’t get as many views if he didn’t do this & he wants that ad revenue money

This makes me so angry, I don't care what ajnabis think but the average diaspora Somali who never went back home and has no idea of what's going on there will also believe this 🤦‍♂️

The average diaspora somali has tt and can watch people post their daily lives in xamar. I see vids showcasing the beauty of the city on my fyp all the time

blame our cursed government for not restricting these type of travellers. I hope the next leader does that and make it more difficult to enter Somalia than North Korea.

Xamar actually exceeded my expectations. It’s a fun place with a very lit nightlife (if u know the right people). Also saw a real construction boom. I guess the warlords need all these new apartments to house their blood thirsty militias lol.

That being said, it’s still about 10 years too early for it to be welcoming tourists. So maybe the FGS should ban filming crews and restrict visas for now.

This issue could be fixed so easily, they renovated so many places except that lighthouse area every tourist goes to, that place looks like Mumbai really nasty.

What's weird about this is that a few years back, he said it was one of his favourite places in Africa. Someone in the comments said that this yahuud probably got angry about the support for Palestine from a lot of Somalis so he's there to spread bad news.


Another thing i find odd... going through the comments, ajnabis seem to insist Mogadishu is the most dangerous city in the world, even when proven wrong with stats and official lists

Why do people seem to have such strong opnions about us and our country/culture, without ever having met any of us or researching themselves? and when proven wrong, refuse to believe it?
