All this dagaal iyo xoog sheegis for a couple decent positions then the rest pointless. I guess everyone wants that ministerial salary.
Runtii the only important position is President, PM (if he is not a hostage), SNA/NISA positions, Regional Presidents.
I think the SNA changes should be quicker now cabinet is over. He needs to change the whole security. Banadir, SNA, Police etc.

They probably just added the role of Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management to AAW’s special envoy job to avoid giving HG 2 Ministries. Otherwise you’d think that position is needed more than ever with the drought

Somali xoolo people are very problematic. You'll agree on something and they'll be back the next day talking about thats not what we agreed on. Not to forget they might of heard what position other qabils are getting. See murusade
No doubt xamar security will be 100% hawiye. Dooro block might hold on to police chief which will be usurped by Banaadir regional police chief and maybe get the navy or airforce lol
The only person I wanted to see named for another position is Odowaa due to his age. He should be thrown into the deep end in 1 of the shabelles to redeem himself.

Salah Jama Deputy PM most likely. Bihi is the minister of Labour and Social Affairs.
Majority of these positions are obsolete and only there to satisfy clan pride. Do they even go past xamar apart from interior minister which I see sometimes go to the gareen states? Even the position of Somali police chief needs to be done with.

I disagree FGS is effectively GM/HS/Banadir/KG/Gedo’s government. Each position definitely affects all those regions.
It should instead be those states that reduce their cabinet/ministers. Hirshabelle just announced 81 ministers. Why not just have these Minister of Planning, Fishing etc work across HS/GM/Banadir etc. We’d save a lot of money.
Secondly if you downsized then only 4/5 qabiils would have positions forever. That would cause problems quickly. Already many qabiils are marginalised and would be more so, which is why many already turn to Shabaab
You can never satisfy qabils, WTF do any of them gain from a clansman being a minister or MP? Little to nothing. It's just bullshit pride. You name the most competent people to those post.
Tell me what does wasirka dinta do? Wasirka boostada? I can go on. Those states need to be able to generate their own revenues.

We’re further into qabiil than most African countries but even then many of them are still selecting MPs/governors/Ministers that are specific tribes to create a coalition of voters, not based on competence.
Btw I do agree with you that those states should create their revenues and also agree this is an awful way to pick a government but it’s just the best way of pacifying qabiils that would mucaarad the best governments just because they’re qabiil aren’t involved. Trying to be realistic.

These ministries are a waste of money. They are just legalised corruption. Somalia has an extremely small budget and half of it is siphoned off.
I can't take them seriously. Why a religious post? Why not let him go and fight alshabaab?

From what I’ve seen it’s a Minister of Religious Affairs and Counter-Terrorism. We’ll find out soon enough. But Yh it would be a waste of resources given Roobow has a very strong base in KG and could do a lot of damage to Shabaab.
But he’s also got strong ambitions to be President of KG and supports expanding KG so it might be just to keep him busy for the time being
then why not keep him busy in his house?
