Businessman from Awdal barred from Berbera

Where does the pettiness and hate these idoors have for other Somalis come from? They should be studied in a lab and kept away from people.

They burned her truck and told her go build a port in Lughaya.

:damn:

They're complaining to the same people that did that to the woman. These Odayaal should follow through with what this guy said if they want to go tit for tat.

They were brutal but honest about telling her to go build Lughaya port. Even other Isaaq are not allowed to work in Berbera port apart from CM/HA, probably not allowed to have a contracted company and businesses there either.

The reason for this is the Berber mayor who employs the people of his clan Ciise Muuse Even the other Isaaq were exposed to this, but no one was talking about it
Don't make it look like it hate to samaroon

Whatever happens to the saying "waa la wada leeyahay" It's that reasoning that stopped Samaroon from building Lughaya port in the first place.

Two ports several kilometers apart, And on the other side is Djibouti port I don't think it's a good idea Also Ciise lives there
Things will improve when the ruling party is finished.

It was a stupid move to expect your business to thrive in a tribal plot of land where your clan is foreign. This is Africa and there is bound to be nepotism. The Ciise Muuse and Muse Abdallah HY fought eachother for control of Berbera for years. I'm not surprised this happened. Samaroon should have built the Lughaya port a long time ago. It was due to complacency and sheer idealism that they thought they could share in the spoils. That doesn't work in Africa. If you want to eat, you build your own. The Bahabar Muuse and Abrayn subclans control Lughaya, the entire coastal strip from Laan Cawaale to Sabowanaag and beyond are settled by these two subclans. If they make the decision nobody can say no.

Several? The distance to Lughaya is over 120km away from Berbera and 135km away from Djibouti main port..

Not a good idea? Why not? Djibouti has 2 ports (Main port & Doraleh) within the distance of 10km and Tadjoura 35km away...

Ciise living there is irrelevant. They're a minority who live under the Samaroon shbclans who have had a tight grip on Lughaya for decades but nonetheless, they would also benefit of it.

Facts, that was one of the biggest mistakes we made.

It's a no brainer to reintroduce our idealistic port in light of the recent events to serve our interests and divert from their port with roads connecting the inland to the coast. We will have to fund a road connecting to Lughaya from Fardaha-Borama which is already included in the AfDB road project to Loyacado-Djibouti or divert fully to Djibouti main port which is miles ahead of Berbera port

The Borama - Fardaha - Lawyacado project designed by Dr Beileh and funded partly by the Ethiopian government will be the biggest development the region has ever seen in it's history.

A small issue blown out of proportion and used by some as propaganda points.
The woman in question had a 7 year contract within the port which came to an end.
the contract was opened to all after hers ended.
The woman in question called the media (as is her right) in order to levy accusations and state that she was being targeted on a tribal basis.
No trucks or cars were burned - To state otherwise is pure propaganda.
One more thing - Her damn husband is Ciise Muusa. It kinda makes her accusations seem silly when you know the above

If you guys offer shares to other Somalis, the funds can be raised much quicker.
Strike whilst the iron is hot and anti-terrorist state sentiments are at an all-time high.
