It's literally just cellphone numbers. They still count in Somali, when it comes to everything else.

The south still uses Italian words and phrases as well.. even names:russsmug:

What are you talking about huuno? We were never colonized but under the protectorate, learn the difference. Also, it seems to be a Burco thing because in Hargeisa and Gabiley we use our own native language for numbers.

Ehh okay, I admit that I may be the wrong person to ask tbh. My Somali is shit and both my parents use a lot of Koonfur words, so you won't get a lot of authentic Waqooyi words out of me :icon e sad:
