While we (Somali fishermen) fought to protect their own sea from toxic and stealing our fish. They made a mockery movie from us, we got mocked cuz pirates and that’s our nickname as well 😂.

We’re majority brownskin but even tho the pirate leader is literally beautiful man but they made him ugly in the movie.

Back home vast majority are dark skin to very dark due to the constant heat overpowering Somalia. And has your eyes been tested? he is not beautiful although if he fixed his teeth and covered his forehead with more hair than he would look decent. Hollywood purposely hired Barkhad because they knew his looks will become the butt of all jokes and for people to believe somali pirates are evil, it was all an elaborate scheme.
