Feminism was a logcial reaction toward the oppression done by men long ago. However muslims should recognise that we have our own scholars and our own world views there is no reason to cling onto the views of an oppressed people 100 of years ago.

If we want to fix the problems of abuse in the muslim world we have to approach it from an islamic world view. Or it would just fall on deaf ears as people would just think your a coon for the west.

Black is a term created in the 16th century by racist white people to categorise us it hold no real value. We should use the label we created/chose for ourselves.

Somalis are more gentically closer to north africans than west africans. Now i am not saying we are arabs but race is not real.

Feminism regardless of the way it started contributed to the advancement of women in the early 1840's and so on. However in the current day name me one thing a man can do that a women can't. It is a movement that has served it's purpose and with each wave brings new ideals to the table. Now feminist are fighting for other causes and we'll continue to see more and more waves stray further from the starting objective.
