It wasn’t only brown women, i think all hijabis were clowning it. I remember seeing it on Twitter a while ago.

This is the”Amira” hijab some south Asian women/elderly Levantine women and a lot of young Muslim girls wear- internationally . It’s not the same thing.

I remember couple years ago there was this whole fuss in China because some European fashion magazine took a natural picture of a Chinese model without plastic surgeries or them weird edits that make her face oval. The entire Chinese internet was outraged and accused white people of making asians look "ugly" when all they did was show an Asian woman with natural features
