I think even considering aiding Israel in it's ethnic cleansing of Palestinians is shameful. We can disagree among somalis all we want, but as a Somali I'm ashamed that other Somalis in SL are entertaining the possibility of doing this just for the sake of recognition. If landers want to get recognized the fine , but doing this through aiding forced displacement of people is madness and evil

Somalis would have accepted them with or without recognition. Recognition just sweetens then deal (the deal of having Ayrabs live with them) even though they don't want to live in Somalian lands and have called Somalis kalab aswad (Somalis came running to make excuses for their racist behaviour).

True. I always say as a unionist that the easiest way for Somaliland to get recognition is just ask Somalia. Offer something to the FGS, they are bunch of corrupt qabilist like all other Somali politicians so it shouldn't be as hard to convince them . They don't care about unity of somalinimo. Somaliland wasted 30 years of begging the west instead of asking directly to Mogadishu and pushing for a sudan-south sudan like resolution. I think we should solve this amongst our own people and decide the terms of a peaceful official divorce
