One thing I'm triggered about tiktok is how it's brainwashing the fobs back home. Degeneracy, gender ears are rife not to mention these same fobs are now entering the diaspora sphere and are using English words to attack random Somali women or when an ajanabi mam compliments.a Somali. I lowley feel sorry for gen Alpha. Imagine growing up with tiktok full of racism and rage bait?

So there will basically be three TikToks: Douyin in China, a new American Tiktok, and the global version for everyone else. The Chinese still own and run the global one. They are just selling the American one.

The big question is whether the American TikTok will be walled off from the global one, the same way Douyin is completely separate from the international Tiktok.

This could be a great thing. No more degenerate American content on global Tiktok.
