I assume what happened is that Somalia's Government hired a lobby group to help with international relevance. That lobby group probably told them the truth, which is that it doesn't look good to have a rogue group running around acting like a sovereign nation.
Thus, since Somaliland is a liability, this lobby group has to snuff them out politically. Especially since Somaliland likes to tarnish Somalia's image globally to make themselves look good by comparison.

Samaroon are honorable people who took part in the peace conferences in early and mid 90s and contributed a lot to the state building of Somaliland and if you think we massacred them shouldn't the Gadabursi boycotted Burco conference and declare war against SNM ?? they had the men several army commanders of the kacaan regime and also the militia that was formed by the help of Afweyne SDA they could have amounted a successful rebellion against SNM since their areas is mountains easy for them to launch attacks against he enemy but no that didn't happen cuz there was intention for SNM to continue the war against clans that were supportive of the regime, it was time for peace and that's how Somaliland was able to achieve the stability it enjoys unlike your country who's still couldn't break the cycle of violence for 31 years.

What sovergugnty you're talking about ?? your successive govts and politicians have accepted that DDS is in ethiopian territory where they officially use the map of two Somali states that have united in 1960 while the previous Somali states used the greater Somali nation map inside the country not what the one used around the world. The union of 1960 happened on the pretext of getting the 5 Somali territories back and since Somalian govts have failed to do that then it's right for us not be ruled from Mogadishu and be our own independent sovereign nation and you can have your Somalia that stretches from Calawla to Ras Kamboni.
