Aabe is a figurative term (not to be confused with Abo which is literal), waliba waa dhaqan somaaliyeed for some. If Gedo wishes to call Deni Aabe who are we to stop them.
Cool heads need to prevail. I personally wish CS Aden Bare Duale and UN Political Office in Somalia to mediate between JL govt & Gedo administration. I am neutral in this conflict, have so much sympathy for reer Gedo, but at the same time want JL state to be peaceful & representative for all of the communities.
One thing that needs to be understood is the current FGS led by Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is not an honest broker but is exploiting the issue. Somalia is under Chapter 7; therefore, the UN Political Office in Somalia can play an important role here and should be the conduit to pursue for conflict resolution..
The last thing we need is an armed conflict. So every effort must be made to ensure it doesn't come down to this.
