The crazy part is most people support reforms like taking guns away from people who are mentally ill or said on the internet that they would do mass shootings. A lot people are also for banning assault rifles like AK-47s
but the NRA is a powerful/wealthy organization and our politicians are bought by them. It just another symptom of super pacs that take power of representation away from the majority of people and into a small minority of wealthy donors.
