Chinese Hui Muslims perfectly managed to balance islam with their traditional culture.

Their mosques are a blend of Islamic and Chinese architecture.

Their food is Chinese with a slight Central Asian/ME influence (and without pork.)
They took Islamic names like Mohamed and shortened/'chineseified' them to Ma, etc.

They wear traditional Chinese clothes with hijabs/kufis.
Somalis should take notes.

That wedding pic looks sooo beautiful mashallah. Why we gotta have girls drooling after the Christians wedding dresses we could've made something breathtaking from traditional clothes with a nod to our current country but nope we had to chase after Becky and her strapless white gown.
