I’m still surprised that they wasted 3 VBIEDS on 1 single attack. Makes me wonder if the base was made out of steel lmao. was 1 not enough for penetration? there’s a lot of lessons that can be learned from this but yes I agree we need to continue the momentum and increase the offensive.

Yes many civilians are dead too but not more than the soldiers. Aun to all. The soldiers are not even the unprofessional ones. These are us trained ones. He should visit cause this is a big attack.

You Idiot. the hospitals do not run for free. Soldiers will be provided care yes but who’s going to pay for their tabs later on? the donor money is not only meant to provide bullets to the troops but also provide treatment for the wounded.

If these Men are willing to put their lives on the line then the least the government can do is not place a financial burden on the family of these soldiers.

Just finished reviewing the photos released by the terrorist group. I counted the numbers of casualties shown on camera by uniform.

I counted 7 casualties wearing Federal SNA uniform
5 casualties wearing Jubaland uniform
3/4 casualties wearing civilian clothing
I double reviewed the photos carefully because there were some photos of the same body taken & released more than once

There were 3 casualties photographed that I was unsure of whether they were released today or doctored from an attack that happened in the past. 1 was was wearing a Federal uniform and 2 were wearing civilian clothes.

AS originally claimed to have killed 89 soldiers yet only shows 16 casualties majority of whom were killed in the trenches leading to the entrance of the base

The Attack started Pre Dawn with 3 Vbieds. This photo is an example of just 1 single Vbied filled with explosives & then followed by a wave of continuous 200-400 gathered fighters

AS & supporters claimed to have captured 18 vehicles despite that it shows only 5 vehicles plus an ambulance. AS has also practiced the art of doctoring and reusing of old propaganda material. I came across a photo which they labeled Jana Abdala but was originally published during the 2019 raid In Sanguni. I’ve noticed they did the same thing with Yasooman where they doctored the date of some photos to increase their PR.

The Battle lasted for 1 hour near the entrance and trenches. With telecommunications turned back on its reported that Jubbaland is still in control of the town which leaves serious questions in how they conduct themselves in this war against terrorism. This is only the beginning and if no improvements are made to learn from this attack then future assaults can not be prevented properly.

There were also 2 hostages, i assume they will beheaded in Jilib so that totals 17 casualties

The Ja.reer captive looked suspect I bet he was the one who was feeding them the information before the attack. he was probably kept alive for a good reason. I never heard of AS capturing a soldier even for valuable information. If they wanted to kill him they would’ve done it at the spot.
