I am going to break this down in simple terms because you guys are just not getting what I am saying.
This is not a moral argument but a political one. I have no sympathise for such a horrible human. However I do feel for his kids.
That being said political violence is a Pandora box you don’t want to open. Somalis are a hated minority.
Rights are a human construct that we made along the way so that we don’t have to be exposed to the rules of the jungle (Might makes Right).
As a hated minority you shouldn’t call for the dissolution of democratic norms like freedom of speech.
They have more people, guns and organisation than you. The only strength in this scenario is your human rights granted to you by the government.
I understand that Charlie advocated against the rights of Muslims, Immigrants and many others. However just because he advocated for that doesn’t mean you should glorify people breaking those social constructs like freedom of speech.
The fact you are able to practice your faith is offshoot of freedom of speech. The second people start getting violent those rights just become meaningless words.
This is just gonna galvanise the right and a new more radical speaker is going to take his spot.
TL;DR Freedom of speech and other rights are awesome and we shouldn’t advocate for people breaking these social norms.

Yeah this will be horrible on the family, I am still able to separate the man and his politics from his family, a father is a major pillar in the family, and growing up without one can lead one astray.

On a real note, Just imagine what Kirk is seeing now. This dude is begging god to let him back on earth so he can be a muslim. We can all joke now but daymn. He sees jahanaam as clear as can be. Maybe I'm just evil but I couldn't care less about his wife and kids. He had a net worth of 12 million when he died, they're gonna be fine. Considering how active he was with these speaking gigs, I doubt he was very close to the kids. Right now, they're too young for his death to leave a deep mark on them. I only feel bad thinking about the kids finding the video when they grow up.
The wife is gonna make a lot of money off his death and will probably turn to philanthropy just like Kobe Bryant's wife. Might even quietly remarry once the dust has settled.
