But who can actually replace these guys? If Trump had died that day, it would have engulfed the US but no one would replace him. Every person who tried to fill his role before he ran was quite lacklusture.

For Kirk, it’s similar. The man has been active for over a decade building his base. Who can just replace all those years of relationship-building? No one if we’re being honest.

What’s more likely is fragmentation of his base, but these fragmented groups will still focus on the same mission overall, but be significantly weaker.

Shooter is supposed to college aged kid and he left the gun in a wooded area near the campus, as well as hand and forearm prints clearly a radicalized youngster who got messy. This was premediated but not to the extent you could suggest a pro killed him.

200 yards isn't a hard shot for someone with a scope and a bit of time at the range and there was little wind resistance to bother a clear shot from that day.
