It’s a school in East London which many underprivileged children attend.
Lots of ethnics attend this school. If you look at the results lots of Bangladeshi and Nigerians attend. They just got amazing results this year take a look here:

My question is, where the HELL are all the Somali people? Not a single Somali person had their results posted. I know there’s a lot of you in East London but you couldn’t get in? But there is Somali gangs in East “Malistrip” akhas.

I get you I barely see any somalis once the results come in at Brampton considering there's decent amount of us in East London. Somalinparents don't priorise in education as much as other demographics which is a shame. Inshallah the new generation of Somali parents put more effort in striving their children to get good grades and go to top schools and universities, I need to see more somali children in grammar/private schools than public schools

Honestly 11+ is just a regular test. If you don’t revise at all you’re never going to do well your parents set you up. The people in selective schools aren’t smart though, you can always pick up who the actual smart ones are.

By the way, most Somalis don’t tend to move out to go to uni. Every major city that somalis live in UK has a Russell group/ more than 1 uni (Bristol, Cardiff, Sheffield, brum, manny, Liverpool). London has 4 Russell Groups. I’m pretty sure barely any somalis live in or around Nottingham.

When kids come from: over crowded homes+ poor nutrition+ hooyo shouting day and night due to stress +already behind by the age of 12 due to lack of recreational reading+ unorganised as a result of all the above= tuition is too late to help heal the rot.

I know Somalis who were spending thousands on tuition for kids who were kicked out every class or even truanting lessons.

First path to success =home.

There aren't many Somalis in that part of East London, but I have seen some Somalis featured on results day from that school in previous years.

Yeah your right I have seen some somalis passing with flying colours couple of years ago. Newham don't have a large somali population, although there's decent amount in Manor Park. Maybe if Brampton was in North West London we would have seen many there.

A couple years ago when Brampton Manor beat Eton, there were a couple of Somali students. Its mainly a Madow and Timo Jileec school;

There’s somalis in leytonstone,Hackney,tower hamlets. All are about 30 mins away. Sorry but I’m just not buying this, parents need to do more to get their kids into these schools.

Also I was going to say, are there any grammar schools in NW? I don’t think I’ve ever heard of one there. There’s lots down here in south.

Yh but very few for some reason. And yeah we have a lot of work to do.

I was expecting at least 1 Somali aswell. Unfortunate tbh . There is many Somalis living in that areas shame that wee are underrepresented when it comes to good results.

You need people like me
A lack of Somali’s at Brampton Manor isn’t an indication of poor educational attainment. The school also had a very public tribunal with a Somali teacher they treated poorly.

If you go to lse/ucl/imperial/oxbridge the Somali societies are relatively bigger than other countries. Especially at UCL.
