What's making Swahili as a unifying language by Pan-Africanists?
Besides that, Botswana has native languages that are abandoned by the Gov.

It's estimated that there's around 150 million Swahili speakers around the world. It could be a pan African language? I remember last year, 16 African countries decided that they will adopt Kiswahili as formal language.

But according to one of the replies, the tweet is false. The minister apparently responded to a question in parliament and he said that this would happen only after they've dealt with other local languages.
