NHS Dentistry, General practitioners and hospitals are all free in the U.K., however, the caveat is that the waiting lines are long and the procedures you get have to be for health reasons rather than vanity. If you want to go private, you can sign up with companies like Bupa where you pay insurance fees or pay for the treatment you receive. In the private sector, they function like a business so the waiting times are shorter and the staff are more skilled. What is it like in Canada?
