“They say he is shortly off to the Congo. No doubt the AK47s will fall silent, and the pangas will stop their hacking of human flesh, and the tribal warriors will all break out in watermelon smiles to see the big white chief touch down in his big white British taxpayer-funded bird.”

“If left to their own devices, the natives would rely on nothing but the instant carbohydrate gratification of the plantain…

The best fate for Africa would be if the old colonial powers, or their citizens, scrambled once again in her direction; on the understanding that this time they will not be asked to feel guilty.”

The OP is a representation why colonialists were successful and why collective punishment fell on us all.

He reminds me of the slaves that voluntarily without any coercion got themselves baptised and boarded the ships voluntary believing believing they were doing God's work by handing themselves into brutal slavery, convinced by the colonialist it's an expiation of their sins.

We are very fortunate our forefathers weren't like this cretin otherwise the same humiliation would have befallen us collectively. When the looming Armageddon brakes out, the likes of him will be the informants, house negro's and snitches.
Who, me ?
