He should dissolve parliament and have an election. They’ll fall behind him to keep Keir Starmer out.

Only issue is the Queen might refuse

I’m not British but does that wretched old hag still have power?
She has absolute power in case of situations like this. It’s constitutionally in her right to refuse a PM’s call for parliament to be dissolved (in other words an election).

Under the Lascelles Principles, the Queen can deny a request to dissolve Parliament when the following conditions are met.

The Queen cannot be taken to court so it would be her decision and it would be final

UK politicians have a lot more class and are more principled than in other western countries, especially Canada. He was forced to resign over an allegation. Our PM breaks laws and grabs journalist's breasts and elbows women in the breasts and wears racist costumes and 100 other incidents everyone and the media falls in line.

Good for Boris for doing the right thing.

Boris and class don't belong in the same paragraph.

The guy had a million scandals, that would've brought down any politician with self respect.

Only reason he resigned was because he had no choice.

There were only two realistic outcomes after the cabinet resignations: resign or get dragged out of office.
