The vast majority of Somali Christians have Italian ancestry so no they are not Somali nor should they be treated as such.
Most somalis who are Christian despite being a minority are still ethnically full somalis. Disregarding their native hertiage and pushing the "mixed" narrative makes you look stupid and inscure about your religion.
No one said they should be persecuted either dumbass but you're clearly overplaying their influence simply because they're closer to cadaans
What is your obsession with cadaans? Ethiopia and Eritrea both are majority orthodox Christian African countries that are literally neighbours to Somalia, they most likely had some influence on somalis that converted is Christianity. Regardless this is not even the point, the injustice that somalis with different religious have to face is what disgusts me, especially the way some of you justify it despite taking advantage of religious freedom in the west.

There is zero evidence of modern day Somalis visibly practising Ethiopic orthodoxy anywhere in history, maybe very early antiquity by proto Somali groups at best although I have no clue on this @Shimbiris

This @malab character is an ethiopian cosplaying as Somali on this forum. It is obvious to anyone who reads its posts which consists of attacking Somalis and Islam and promoting Ethiopia.

Notice its last post just made up a non-existent influence of christianity from habeshis on Somalis. It is unheard of in all of history and every Somali knows that.

The only "Christians" as you mentioned were orphaned children stolen and raised by missionaries during the colonial period and almost all of them reverted to Islam.

We (OG) have been neighbors with gaal from both the west and the south for hundreds of years and you will never see or hear of a Christian. Someone is in denial of their white saviors colonialism.

โ€œEthiopian influenceโ€? Dhego adhaga! They (cadaan) were stealing somali kids and Christianizing them. Ainโ€™t no man worshipping raw meat eater influencing a geeljire. We did the influencing and Islamized them.

That is right, it was the habeshis who converted to Islam and were influenced. They have significant Muslim populations that are still fast growing Alhamdulilah, even though they were massacred and forced to convert through out history.

Ethiopian groups, Amhara, Oromo, Tigray, all have Muslim populations. While Somalis are 100% Muslim with no other religious populations to speak of let alone Christians.

I recall there being cases or hints of forced conversions in the Futux. In fact, one of the Somali Garaads fighting in the war had a Xabash sounding name by the looks of it like the Amir of the Mareexaan at the time:

He sent [another messenger] to the tribe of Marraihan whose chieftain was
Hirabu bin Goita Tedros bin Adam

But that was just something that seemed to happen in such religious wars and it seemed generally insincere in that the Somali or Xabash would seemingly be captured, forcefully converted then immediately go right back to fighting for their own people and birth religion once freed.

Other than that there's just pre-Islamic evidence in the north, particularly the northwest, of things like Christian burials, Ge'ez bibles, crosses and small inland settlements that may very have been inhabited by at least some Orthodox Christians but once you're in the Middle-Ages I don't recall any noticeable evidence of any Christian Somalis. Maybe archaeology will dig some stuff up overtime but I doubt it. All the historical accounts and archaeology we have on the middle-ages so far seem to impart a very Muslim climate across the Somali Peninsula from at least around the 1100s-1300s CE and onwards.

Promoting genocide is not okay even if it's a joke
Inshallah, I will create an organization called "Killing Somali Christians by crucifixion." As an abbreviation of its name, it will be โ€œKSCCโ€.

Our land must be cleansed from these toilets of Italians and Britons.
