For more than 20 years i have watched the soap opera Bold and the Beautiful. It has fueled my interest, my passions, my aspirations and my joy. Two women- one blonde and the other brunette fighting over Prince Charming- Ridge Forrester. Brook, the blondie was my choice, she was lascivious, and dumb, but she loved him more. Taylor -the brunette was psychiatrist who was conservative. smart with dignity. They have been mortal enemies. Ridge will break up with one and run to the other. And so this has been a recurring story all these years. Yes, i know it is dumb, and silly- but it was my dumbness, and my silliness. A good source for me to escape to la la land and dream. Recently- the writers of the show have gone MAD!!! They infused intellectual sense into the show- and made the women come together, and tell Ridge to FK IT!!! Then they went and bought a cake - and instead of throwing at each other as they have made many years before- they had an eating fest. First the thought was nice and instantly gratifying. But then, the reality sets in. No more cat fights? No more running after Ridge? No More battle against blondie vs brunette??? Is Bold and the Beautiful coming to an end? I am kinda offended if you wanted to know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
