Abayo by that same logic, why are somalis being guilt tripped to support BLM when they don't care about us and are also derogatory towards us, our community and our struggles?
I mean I don't agree with BLM (as I have told you in that thread that you conveniently closed for any further replies), but for the sake of argument, surely it should be a two way equal conversation/relationship? Is our community struggle and tragedies not worth supporting? (I mean they weren't being asked to support a "Somali freedom organisation" of whatever kind, they were simply being asked why they are quiet and not supporting it on their social media? It takes 2 seconds to retweet, and max 10 seconds to write a tweet).

Yeah true abayo I did see that on twitter but thats a small minority, sometimes troll accounts with 10/20/30 followers posting monkey pictures, some could be non-somali, and yeah some are bila akhlaaq somalis, but Its not fair to use them as a representation (but it goes both ways, they do the exact same thing, send for somalis rent-free)
In any case I condone all of it, its wrong to swear, slander, send ape pictures and be racist to anyone, but so is slandering a whole people, violating and even laughing at famines and hunger.. (and to my SHOCK I think these are real black peoples accounts not trolls...) I'm just saying Its not mutually exclusive to somalis. They are both wrong, I cant make excuses for them both. And yeah Somalis should stick together as a community and help ourselves, teach our younger generation, do community programmes, Alhamdulilah we already do it and its increasing but more focus and energy is needed. Only we can help ourselves.
Japanese people dont count on other people to help them, Mexicans dont count on other people to help them, we shouldn't count on other people helping us. I think we should all help our own community first, get involved in the community and mentor a kid if you can, help out with community programmes, you can find them online and google them
