It is a film, though ,not a bloody biopic of Michael Jackson .The black lives matter needs to relax their aFro combs on this one . A militant kneegrow having an Asian girlfriend is not anymore far fetched than him a black east African girl in the 70s..I for one Will be watching this and supporting the long history of brothers and Asian sisters in the British islands .

I as a Somali have no dog in this fight. I do understand where the black women are coming from though. If Somali men made a movie about the syl and the main character in that movie was some chinese woman married to one of the men and she was barking orders and ending colonialism, without 1 Somali woman in the movie, I would also be annoyed. However the black women shouldn't direct their questions at the asian actress but rather at the black men who made this show.

On second thought, this is set out in London decades back. There was a POC alliance so it wasn't a Black rights movement per se. Blacks and South Asians at that point are virtually the only non-White immigrants. As long as they're inclusive of other Asians in the show, I think her placement is perfectly reasonable. The SYL analogy is not fair imo.

The only prominent Black woman in the series plays as a snitch for the cops, so this just goes to show the length in which the producers took to portray Black women negatively and completely erase them.

real talk, you'd have to really look for good looking ones. I come across at least 50 for four days at school and I have not seen a good looking one yet. Makes me wonder why indians reproduce so much?
