"God cannot" kulaha lol

Of course everyone is responsible for their own life and they can do as they please. But our hooyas and abos want whats best for us in the Dunya and Akhira! It goes beyond this world but I'm guessing your liberal views prevent you from seeing that.

I personally grew up in Canada and the U.S. and I cannot wait to move back home. The western society is too godless for me walahi I wanna hear the call to prayer outside everyday not just from my phone lol
That's your choice not mine ;) I love the western lifestyle lol

Let's be honest, there's plenty of ppl who can't be 'themselves'. They're cornered into being 'hypocrites'. The lifestyle they're putting on for everyone one else is not true to them. And in other cases, they aren't radically different ppl bc they do these things. Some of them are just going through a phase or its a part of growing up for them.

Like if you go to a different city on a trip and whoosh the hijab comes off and then when you come back it's on again, best believe that person didn't want to go through the trouble of doing that within the community or with someone in their family, bc they're clearly not inclined to wear it organically when it's completely up to them. Suddenly they're a 'hypocrite'. It's that easy to become one.
That's why i said hypocrites have weak pathetic personalities. No principles or ideals amongst them

In war they would be the first to flee in a pitched battle. There is nothing positive or even redeeming about someone who does one thing in one place and another in another place. I don't care how many excuses you give for such people. It's just pathetic. Just shows a complete lack of spine.

True but maybe they want to be loved and excepted by their families and communities as well as be able to be freely who they are. A lot of ex Muslims want to be part of the community but find their lack of faith to be a hinderance to them being eccepted. It's not selfish to want your parents to love you for who you are and accept you for it. I know this impossible becuase it goes against the teaching of their particular religion. This is where the problem lies !!

:mjlol:

I agree, they should be true to themselves, but I don't think you realize what you're asking for.

What do you expect raising your kids in the Godless West where sex, drugs and all sins are a go. You have artists promoting this YOLO lifestyle. Those parents are naive to think innocent little hijab wearing Ikram is attending an MSA sleepover. When she really is getting turnt and passed around to da mandem in the tely

Sorry but that's nonsense. You want to feel loved? you could not find love within your own household? your own community? to the point you start seeking validation from somewhere else? something completely at odds to your parents way of life and thinking? and then cry because you're afraid your parents do not share the same ideals in life as you? give us a break.

Love and acceptance does not exist in a vacuum. That's what galos think. Love unconditionally. if your son turns out to be a rapist a mirderer or a drug dealer you should still love him. That is one of the most retarded way of thinking here in the west. My hoyo loves me more than anything. It still didnt change the fact that she was absolutely crushed and disappointed in me when i failed in test once back in school. The look on her face.

Love has conditions. You best get used to that.
