I notice that Black Americans don't generally have their own political force. They are used by white liberals.

The madows previously started to make gains with their black panther party but the US gov and CIA shut it down. Also the fact that they are only 13% of the population. With how much they're talked about I thought they'd be 30%. Madows should be importing west afrucaj migrants and assimilating them and boosting their numbers. Just like the White anglos did with European migrants

The panther movement had so much potential.

Malcom X, Mohammed Ali and Martin Luther King all living during the same time period must be insane to witness.

Living in the civil rights period wouldโ€™ve been interesting. Youโ€™d see these guys literally shaking all of America, gaining support from all minorities in the country and protesting everywhere.

All that momentum has halted. I swear if the cia didnt kill all the black leaders there wouldve been an autonomus zone in America where everything black owned.

They would be sitting on good land thats already developed. No qabil nonsense to divide them either.

The cia snooped on Malcom X to find dirt on him and they found nothing. He was a proper muslim they wanted to find something to delegitmise him.

To think one day inshallah you will be able to have a conversation with Malcom X in jannah is so awesome. Just imagine being able to have hours long conversations with so many great islamic figures.

Perhaps we should mobilize politically. Creat our own ADL and lobby for political parties to be more favorable to us. Just a thought since I've seen us become more visible in politics lately.

I mean itโ€™s the same with African countries any good African leader was assassinated in their place was put puppets they could control so they can steal their resources.

They should all move into a state with less population, Wyoming for instance that has a half a million population their they will have their own state

Black people all over the world owe African-Americans a great debt of gratitude; their articulation of the struggle against racism literally paved the way for the rights that other black people around the world now enjoy.

It was the Congressional Black Caucus that convinced the United States Government to support South Sudan and exert pressure on Khartoum to end its fruitless war on the then southern region of the Country.

I am eternally grateful toward African-Americans for what they did for my people.

they may have helped south sudan. but the concept of black americans being behind post ww2 "enlightenment" is a misconception. colonizers were too broke to maintain colonies and keep the global south under them.

It wasn't about enlightenment; it was about the cold war and the moral grand-standing of the Great Powers; the United States could not espouse its apparent commitments to liberty and equality while enforcing a program of racial supremacy and segregation, so it had to compromise in the face of a withering assault on its moral character by African-American activists.

the cold war dwarfed the civil rights movement and activism. governments and militant groups in the global south were offered development and weapons by the ussr as long as they were antiwestern and with little strings attached. america had to keep up.
