Looks good Reer Garowe
You are correct, I need to change my way of thinking maybe. Any positive change is good overall and will consequently have positive knock-on effects. Those pictures you posted look amazing btw
All of us sis!
I am just grateful and amazed that Somalis still manage to control their own economy unlike many African countries. This hotel and the upcoming port in Garacad proves that Somalis can fund major development projects without foreign assistance (slavery)
We have so many millionaires and with our group mentality, we can achieve so much.
"Bipolar breakaway region"
Indeed, it's an issue that needs to be resolved once and for all in the final constitution. You tell me ...you have an administration that says βweβre part of the Federal Republic of Somaliaβ yet they collect their own tax, run their ports and airports, schools, military and even have a βForeign Ministerβ yet they donβt want to say the elephant in the room which is βWe, the republic of Puntland, declare out independence from Somalia β.
The interior was designed by a Somali lady btw.

One foot in, one foot out.You tell me ...you have an administration that says βweβre part of the Federal Republic of Somaliaβ yet they collect their own tax, run their ports and airports, schools, military and even have a βForeign Ministerβ yet they donβt want to say the elephant in the room which is βWe, the republic of Puntland, declare out independence from Somalia β.
It's good for our service and commodity based economy But 4real tho' China and now its immediate manufacturing colonies or subsidiaries dominate that so the only govt packed low and middle end manufacturing can survive. You could observe a similar trend the whole devoloping countries. The other only option is if you can bring high end products which needs substantial investment .Talk about misplaced priorities..
You would be surprised how these hotels are actually needed(at least good quality ones shitty ones need to be ignored). This one raises the bar for standard and service, many foreigners also visit Garowe so a good hotel is a good impression. Inside the hotel, they also showcase traditional Somali culture and offer pics of landscape across the country to welcome and invite them to visit other places. It also offers a great view because it's located on top of a hill. You are correct, I need to change my way of thinking maybe. Any positive change is good overall and will consequently have positive knock-on effects. Those pictures you posted look amazing btw
I hope that you can climb and are barbed wire proof. The beautiful state of Puntland never ceases to amaze me, if I am in garoowe, I will definitely stay at this hotel. The view is also incredible
