agree, Corn is actually not good for one mental health. Very addictive and its hard to realize it till one tries to stop doing it.
When we experience highly arousing stimuli such as ****, the dopamine level in our brains spike. This is novel to our brain and what has been named the βCoolidgeβ effect begins. We are wired to feel drawn to this new and exciting experience.
Pleasure neurochemicals in the brain respond as we continue to engage the stimulus and we can over stimulate ourselves. This is when we go beyond normal pleasure activation and the neurochemicals can start damaging patterns.
Pleasure decrease
When dopamine is deregulated we donβt feel well. Depression and hopelessness soon follow in a world where nothing is experienced as pleasurable or meaningful. It is hard to engage with lifeβs many joys because there seems to be only one joy (sex)!
Isolation
When pleasure, motivation and relational interest are low, isolations is a common experience. Furthermore, a **** addiction can cause people to spend countless hours searching for **** in secret. Unfortunately the isolation that is commonly built also serves to create further despair and negative experiences.
What I was getting to wasn't corn but masturbating, and how it has its cons and pros. Masturbating isn't as bad as corn, they both might be addict but one is less addict then the other. Also Masturbating has its pros like men are more likely not to get prostate cancer if they masturbate and So
