Biixi has a Gandhi moment requests release of POW as they are ready to do the same

Biixi uncharacteristically requested that Puntland releases the Somaliland Prisoners of War captured in the Tukaraq skirmish saying they are ready to release Puntland POW.

He further said that he has peace and brotherhood for Puntland and as a sign they are ready to make first gesture and release POW from Puntland and requests that Puntland does it in return and release what they captured equally from Somaliland.

He concluded saying that he hopes no conflict will ensue ever after that.

Baboon an exchange is good and a start to peace however it is problematic for Puntland as it has a new government and Muuse has the 'upper' hand.

There is a responsible and sensible government in Puntland and it looks the UAE is lurking in the shadow.

Maybe the 'free' $35 Million upgrade for the Bosaso Airport and FlyDubai's arrival to Puntland are preconditions set by UAE and there is some benefit for Puntland to heed that request.

We shall see how President Deni replies to the request.

One thing is certain Puntland has many prisoners of war captured a year ago in the May 15 and May 24 skirmish.

Puntland should only except if there is an economical and infrastructural benefits.

Bosaso Airport is incomplete we need 1km extension of the runway, a new terminal, storage and parking area and should commence within this year.

We need FlyDubai to fly regularly to Bosaso or Garowe or both.

Meanwhile Puntland should gear up,recover from the disastrous Gaas years and rebuild its institutions and army.

This goes with the benefit we are getting from the UAE. There should be more on the table too.

All this should benefit Deni's hometown of Bosaaso.
