Never understood why, if a friend were to do something sexually deviant (not just rape, but just being weird around women is enough), there's so much social pressure to publicly renounce them. There's never the same pressure for any other crime. I'm a grown man I'll be friends with whoever I want, though I would probably not want to be their friends myself if they were to rape an innocent woman. If my boy is a lil too aggressive with women to the point of making them uncomfortable, I'm not gonna disown him brah. Your friendships are a reflection of you. Men who are too aggressive with women end up slipping up like the case of Filly and Chunkz is lucky that leading up to Filly being exposed we all knew he wasn’t that close to him and avoided him.
This isn’t so called gynocracy but common sense. If you want to hang out with nasty pervy hyper-sexual individuals, do not be confused when you’re seen in that light and don’t be surprised when these guys feel emboldened to treat the women in your family this way since many of you men have given them the green light by normalizing their behavior via continued friendship.

Somali society understands accountability very well when it comes to the case of female friendships, but many act clueless when it comes to nimanka.
Ask any Somali man if he will look at a girl who is friends with a group of promiscuous women as suspect. He will tell you with clear cut conviction that such a woman is a reflection of her immoral friends, but when his friends are grapists, dead beat men, khad heads, looters, scammers or drug dealers he will say that he’s an individual.
I saw a clip of that Abti podcast, one of the hosts said that a man can have a group with such contrasting individuals like doctors, sheikhs to gangbangers and party boys.
When we look at the state of our society and even how some our women are treated, this lack of accountability and permissiveness and believing that only women need to have good company is the main culprit. It’s to the point that we have now seen the unbelievably sadistic case of 24 boys influence each other to grape two young girls and not one even bothered to stop and think and try and stop the rest.

We are discussing sexual crimes to begin with hence why were on this topic. If Chunkz were friends with murderer, people would talk about that.
