Wara, I thought you're pro-AA? When did you get red pilled? :dead:

When you and the buddies go out and you're working that poor thing to the bone............

And then the final check comes at $108.21

And I'm like 108.21 x .01 = $1.08

Food/Drinks: $108.21
Tip: $1.08

Is it weird that I've never been to a restaurant that requires tipping?
:browtf:

You're saving a lot of money.

Yes. A few dollars less.

But I'm talking about the average person.

“There’s always this urban myth that servers don’t make a lot of money. But the average server in Ontario makes $17 to $18 an hour in tips, above their minimum wage,” says Bruce McAdams, an assistant professor at Guelph University’s School of Hospitality, Food and Tourism Management.

McAdams argues that the growing expectation to tip above 15 percent is partly due to this myth, and the idea that the more you tip, the better your service will be. But, according to a survey of 160 restaurants conducted by McAdams and his colleague Michael von Massow last August, that really isn’t the case anymore."

I'm re-considering tipping too.

Guess who's not tipping anymore. I usually don't but my friends guilt me into tipping, and then I make a note not to eat w that friend. US pays waiters pennies, we don't have that issue.
I never understood the low tip=bad service myth, I've newer been to a restaurant that charges before you eat.

So i did this job at a event as a waitress
And all these cadaan old men were like in love with me :bell:

Ended up with like 70 euros cash in 3 days, it was nearly more than my salary what i would have got for working these 3 days:nahgirl:

The "worst" tippers are still tipping reasonably though, 16% is pretty good.

I feel inclined to tip or I feel like shit, and even embarassed if the ppl I'm with aren't tipping.
