Best advice from your parents

My parents use to tell me from a young age "Adduun iyo aakhira ba hada rabtid inta liibantid, xadhiga Ilaahay ha sii dayn"

"If you want to be successful both in this life and the next, hold firm to the rope of Allah SWT"

May Allah SWT shower His endless naxariis on our parents and for those whose parents have passed away, may Allah SWT reunite you in jannah

Wallahi that is one of the hardest lessons I've learnt in the last 2 yrs

its always going to be hard wallahi becouse us humans natural want everyone to be on their team .. but not all people care too much about you except family .. especially parent

You get to know people the day you need them.. I also notice some people don't want you to succeed.. I'm always surprised when I encounter this kinda humans because naturally I'm the opposite of them.

Hassan mahat

I karbash wahabist salafis daily.
“Live a honourable life, be a good person and do what you like. Never do something you don’t want In order to please someone” - my mother

she Believed that it is better to die standing than kneeling. That is why I voice my opinions with no fear.

It really be your own family too wallahi. I learned this the hard way a while back. And that person is upset that I don’t contact them. Thank Allah that whatever I did for them was for Allah’s sake only because otherwise I’d be pissed off. Alhamdulilah.

The best advice is to live a happy life and to never ever need them. They’ll come running.

We do things for the sake of Allah SWT but even then it's nice when people show gratitude

Some people just take you for granted and think they can come running when ever they need help but if it's the other around they door is shut.. Once I find out a person is an opportunistic selfish person I cut them off, I may great them on the street but that is all.

Be self sufficient and rely on Allah.

I’m power phrasing here but sorta goes like:
“Be kind and respectful to everyone even those who don’t deserve it. That’s a reflection of your character and not theirs.”
