It’s not the worst idea..
If we end up being decided in 5+ mini countries we will always be satellite states used against each other... either 1 full country or two countries with The north east and the north west forming 1 country..

which is not a bad idea considering our tribalism doesn’t allow us to manage a huge land and dozen tribes all competing for the same political favours.

harti and Isaaq are the major clans within north Somali ... it shouldn’t be very hard hard to manage...

Take the Arab peninsula for example:
Saudi
Emirates
Oman
Yemen
Kuwait
Bahrain
Kuwait

one way or the other connected through blood history and land mass al functioning reasonably well besides a minor hiccup in Yemen would have never been the succes they are today if they were 1 countries..
And same goes for number of South American African and Asian countries and even European countries like Scandinavië or the east block or holland and belguim..

it wouldn’t have worked.. too much competition..

somalia on a much smaller case is similar in many ways...

Either get some results as 1 country or cut the country in half
