Benching someone

benching is basically when you like someone enough to keep seeing them, but not enough that you want to be with them, so you keep them as an option while you continue to date around.... i.e keeping them on the bench while you play out your other options.


we are all probably guilty of it. I think it is human nature to keep our options open, but it is not fair on the other person. should there be a deadline?... if so, how long?
