@Teeri-Alpha @PhySom what I do a-lot is read history in the dark ages and then use the 'experience' factor from places like this and think about the past and how to get them moving forward to catch up to the present. I have identified Somali isn't a culture of 'learning'. It's a culture of 'reading'. Learning means open ideas, they fear 'shame' in public sxb if they say something out of societal norm, that is one of the reason which has caused our 'regression' in those type of societies, things just remain how it is as no-one is brave enough to open up their minds and not feel shame. Me and @PhySom will go back to our respective regions and sit under the 'desert' and ponder the calculations needed on the materials we have. Yes everything is calculation, it's the great thing about maths, Somalis think it's only for business or commerce, science broke it open and said it's for the whole universe and earth. Once we know the calculation we can begin 'creating' and 'innovating' the different elements, substances, forces, structures, laws of all things including yourself. Your calculation 'diameter, weight, height' trust me even you are calculated for CALORIES.

That's why the scientific world is real, it's the only answer to the physical reality and for progress, religion doesn't help with the phyiscal world unless it's for morality and worship. It's also useful in other areas but not GOVT OR SOCIETY OR BUSINESS. Society will be 'calculated' measured along male, female, young, old, many variables and so forth.

@PhySom see the problem between science n religion. When I used mathamatics formulas on hamar best economic model using supply/demand/product value to 'gouge' returns using 'calculations'. Religion has always been a 'thorn' in the eyes of science and the same challenges are going too be faced in Somalia. That's why 'atheist' developed as they felt religion is holding us back from progress, I can understand their point, but they also provide no spiritual answer either and mathamatically their talking garbage about 'zero' or nothingness as it doesn't exist in physical world. There is always 'existence' first so it's something and quantifiable as 1. The biggest 'parameters' in number especially in the earth sciences is 'weight' everything has 'weight'. There is others like 'quantity'. It's like cooking sxb, your just doing with 'physical earth'

I don't think a 'pure' scientific society will work for Somalia, we need to just 'secularize' or something because the 'russians' tried it and it led to a civil war again as people feared they were losing their religion and were going to be 'worshipping the state'. When u learn 'maths' and u see the evidence, it makes lots doubt religion. Not me personally but some do. I feel you can't have maths without 'mathamatician'. When god designed this world, it was thru 'nidaam'. It's obvious that's all science is doing trying to create structure for it or find the structures and law and calculations so we can begin creating. The reason I say something happened in Iraq with Abraham is after I studied aborigines.
