To put it simply, anything that veers off the track of a man not being able to take care of his family is an issue that needs to be understood through many filters of human affairs. It can be the change in cultural and social forces, macro-economic problems like poverty, limitations in opportunities, even greater, the economic participatory expectation redefining gender relations, market needs in human skill incentivizing specific bias for characteristics in male personality. Many male-specific problems can be seen from a systemic lens.
Ask me as an individual, and my basic advice is contradictory to what's written above, emphasizing realism and pragmatism. Stop complaining about shit and go out and be somebody, take care of your people, don't stop improving while holding yourself accountable for your actions, choices, lack thereof, your relationship with people, things you have direct control over, and response management to what you can't control, etc.
