Look at the size of that river at 9:39! I bet the Juba river could be made navigable down to Kismayo. You could probably sail big barges on a river of that size.

I always said we will one day eat the cambe of Jubaland, that day has come my friends.

The Juba river is one of very few rivers in Africa that can become navigable far inland. If channelized it can be a straight highway linking places as far inland as Southern Ethiopia with Kismayo port.

Baardheere a great city. It was the islamic hub of Somali nation and one of the best agricultural city.
