In sha Allah Cal madow and the coast should be tourist destination in the coming years .
It takes alot of money to build a road from the lowlands land through the mountains

Ideally Bosaso-Ceelaayo-Laasqoray or we can extend a road from Galgala which is already paved upto Milxo and from there onto Geeldoora path would be easier to do. From there you can get to the mountains by car

That area needs lodges, sky observatories, bird conservatories, avocado trees, honey apiaries, date farms and coffee terraces. I could see it becoming a huge domestic and diaspora tourist attraction;

Locals in Mashxaleed village built their own water network without outside funds / ngos

Sometimes the water from the springs overflow and drop down to lowlands in Sanaag and Bari creating seasonal rivers

The ones in the vid are mixed from what it seemst
Yes I thought so too. They are too dark/brownish looking for Holstein and have the bone structure of the Zebu of Somalia. It’s good they are mixed because the heat in Somalia would kill off the Holstein. They now have the milk producing genes of the Holstein while maintaining the sturdiness of the East African Zebu

They are incredible wallahi. They are also more pest resistant. Apparently it belongs to the only species which can be interbred with other cattle to create new breeds. Allah is great indeed. Their hump is also one of the best tasting meat ever.
