Lol those traits can work for men but will keep women single forever.

Now let me ask you as an educated career woman who is more than capable of providing for herself, which of the the following do you value more in a man and why if you can.

1. Intellect
2. Personality

In theory, I'm attracted to booksmart/intellectual men but I tend to not have any chemistry irl. They can be docile and gullible which is off putting. I mostly feel pity for them.

Don't get me wrong, I could never date streetsmart men either. I find their "confident" personality rather forceful and dangerous, which makes me run for the hills.

It'll be nice to adore my future spouse without the fear (streetsmarts) or the guilt (booksmarts) imo..

So basically all the smart ones are weak nerds and all the confident ones are too dum to control their arrogance.

Jk
Doesn't it ever concern you that the older you get the higher the chance your children could have serious physical defects, or that instead of having crippled children your bloodline would end with you? I mean if I was an unmarried middle aged woman without a prospect of marriage in sight I wouldn't be able to sleep at night truthfully.

I don't think I'm being difficult.

According to American psychologists, both men and women desire a partner "who is mature and intelligent, loyal and trustworthy, loving and attentive, sensitive and open, kind and nurturant, competent and responsible."

All I'm saying is respectfully to accomplish anything in life, even marriage, there must be a sense of urgency. Inshallah you will find the right man but if you don't decide mentally that you must find him and soon. Your situation could be permanent, or worse you may have to put up with a someone who you wouldn't marry otherwise.
Right now I'm not looking for wife but when i do, I would have to find her within half a year of deciding I'm ready for marriage. No waiting no games no fantasy nor dreaming, just searching.

Your honesty is refreshing and the dilemma you women face, choosing between the nerd and the thug is unknown to most men. Who think options equal power and it’s all about choice lol.

The solution would be to find a man that possesses the best of both worlds, not all street dudes are forceful just the ones who lack manners and have no class.

Thanks for an interesting evening it’s been fun.

btw you don’t want your equal because then you would never respect him.

AGREE, like with everything else in life, moderation is the key.

No streetsmarts man for me please.. The ideal is a confident booksmart minus the guilt tripping 🥰

When I say an equal, it is in reference to the decision making process..

Most men fall on extreme ends. It is either they are dishing orders with no room for feedback or fall back and expect the woman to carry the mental and emotional workload of the relationship.

Personality.
Intellect is abstract. How tf can someone gauge an adequate amount of intellect needed in a partner.
Personality, bc I’m more sure and undoubtedly certain in my art tastes.
I won’t accept a pleb who shamelessly enjoys k dramas.
If she enjoys modern pop culture, I won’t “oh cool” my way into her panties.

Gun to your head, what would you choose the streetsmarts or booksmarts?

I believe you have a negative image of what being street smart is for a man.

You’re emphasizing the importance of certainty, without acknowledging uncertainty which is equally as important.

Ok maybe not.

Trust me there are no easy choices, some muster up the courage to make a decision.

While others wait for the perfect person to show up at the perfect time. We know how that goes right.

as a master thief, no

In other words you fell for it but had the need to save face as a Sspot newbie, gotcha ya.

Most women are chameleons and can effortlessly become the type of woman you describe of wanting.

so how do you see the personality beyond that which is on display for your pleasure?

You may be right in that I've never dated a streetsmart man..

Yh, if wishes were horses..

Well, I'm too calculated to marry someone for love. Status, sex and children can be perks or downsides depending on who you end up with.
